Dialysis machines and water treatment loops
The situation
Water treatment for dialysis is judged on conductivity, temperature and pressure across the loop. These values are checked at intervals, and a deviation between two checks leaves no trace unless something is recording continuously.
What the AI does
Water quality, cycle records and equipment health
What we measure
Conductivity, water temperature, loop pressure and flow where the plant exposes them. Values are recorded continuously and kept, so that a question asked next month has an answer.
What the system does not do
The system does not validate water quality against any pharmacopoeia and takes no part in treatment decisions. Compliance remains the responsibility of the unit.
The retrofit chain
SENSORS → IoT → CLOUD → AI
External probes and existing signal outputs are read without altering the machine's own electronics. An industrial gateway forwards the readings; the platform stores, analyses and reports.
