The situation
A patient monitor is a fleet asset before it is a clinical device. Which units are charged, which are in service, which have not been seen for a week, which are overdue for maintenance: these questions are usually answered by walking the corridors.
What the AI does
Device status, battery, technical alarms and availability
What we measure
Battery state, power state, availability, technical alarms and connectivity, read only through the data output the manufacturer provides. Nothing is intercepted and nothing internal is modified.
What the system does not do
The system reads no vital signs and no patient data of any kind. It reports the technical state of the equipment, nothing else. This boundary is deliberate and is not a configuration option.
The retrofit chain
SENSORS → IoT → CLOUD → AI
External probes and existing signal outputs are read without altering the machine's own electronics. An industrial gateway forwards the readings; the platform stores, analyses and reports.
Signals and protocols we read
If your equipment exposes one of these, no internal modification is normally required.
